Overall it was a fun outing.  The durians were the highlight of this trip.  We were all surprised by the great taste of the durians.  The people at the resort were very nice and accommodating.  They were friendly and made us feel at home.  We will definitely be back again next year during the durian season.

Mount Kinabalu 8-9 August 2013

Celebration at the summit

Some 2 years ago we toyed with the idea to celebrate Victor's 70th birthday on top of Mount Kinabalu.  On 9 Aug 2013, exactly 4 years after our first summit climb there, we fulfilled our promise with a banner and birthday song at the summit of Mount Kinabalu.
